Traditional automated tests usually follow journeys that engineers define in advance.
Real users are less predictable.
We are exploring a different approach: using application logs, analytics and usage patterns to understand how users actually interact with a product, then turning those behaviours into realistic exploratory testing scenarios.

Users don't follow
test scripts.
A test suite may confirm that the expected journey works perfectly while real users still encounter problems.
People navigate backwards, abandon flows, repeat actions, switch devices, use unexpected combinations of features and create application states that engineers may never have anticipated.
By bringing real usage patterns into exploratory testing, we want to make testing more representative of what happens after software reaches production.
